Basically, Hugo Chavez is in China on an anti-U.S.A. tour promoting a shift away from American dominance (by the way, why do these guys always use the phrase “New World Order?” Do they not realize it freaks people out?). This is an on-going thing, as Chavez has been singing this song for the decade he’s been in power.
Problem is that America’s current economy, debt, and abuse of the Dollar are now scaring the countries we’ve always done business with. Hugo’s audience is getting bigger, and his “new world order” will be led by Communists, Socialists, and those who feel Shariah law should be promoted the world over. Freedom for ANYONE is getting a little more fragile as time goes on. Add to this the fact that a lot of oil countries are involved, and it gets pretty scary.
I’m thinking Hugo Chavez is a bigger threat to us than we’ve ever given him credit for!
