Global Warmists Exploit the Holocaust

When Ellen Goodman likened climate skeptics to holocaust deniers last February, she raised more than a few eyebrows. Yet, hers was not the first reprehensible use of that fetid analogy, nor, unfortunately, would it be the last. In truth, environmentalists’ deplorable trivialization of Hitler’s genocide can be traced as far back as the late 1980′s (by an ambitious senator from Tennessee) and as recently as last month by the scientist considered to be the world’s premiere global warming researcher.

Citing “ominous signs that the earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically,” the magazine warned of an impending “drastic decline in food production.” Political disruptions stemming from food shortages could affect “just about every nation on earth.” Scientists urged governments to consider emergency action to head off the terrible threat of . . . well, if you had been following the climate-change debates at the time, you’d have known that the threat was: global cooling.

While I do believe conservation to be a good thing, I also feel Global Warming is a myth that’s morphed into a political agenda that is no longer concerned with fixing the alleged environmental problems. We simply have not been on this Earth with the proper equipment long enough to know how the climate cycles really work.
